TU/e Kort - Memories Stick

Posted on: Apr 11, 2012

Today is the fifth and last day of principal shooting of the Dutch short film 'Memories Stick', a collaboration between the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) and Scala Productiehuis.
Crew and cast involves students from the university of Eindhoven and several other universities within the country. Basically the whole project (i.e. storyline, production, design) is being done and created by the students.

Yesterday a small article was published in the online issue of Cursor, an informatical magazine of the TU/e.

Read the article here (sorry, in Dutch): http://web.tue.nl/cursor/internet/jaargang54/cursor15/nieuws/index.php?page=x6

The ten minutes long film is shot on the brand new Canon 5D Mark III.

'Memories Stick' will be premiered on June 16, 2012.

VD Akker

Armed with a Canon 5D Mark II, a couple of lenses and three Profoto flash heads I made promotional photos for VD Akker, an exclusive car dealer for Audi, Bentley & Porsche.
Strobist photography is a pretty new thing to me, but I am very happy with the final result and the overall feel and look of the pictures!

A while ago I stepped into this technique the very first time during the Wolfendale band pic shoot. Multiple photos of both shoots will be added to the photography section on this website. Ooph, busy times...so I'm glad already I found some of my precious time to update my blog.

Below a screenshot of the index page of the updated website of VD Akker; click on the screenshot to navigate to VD Akker's homepage to view all five photos. Probably more photos of the shoot will be revealed  in a not so distant future...I'll keep you posted about this.

Also one of my photos I made during a location visit was being used for an ad in the Quote 500 magazine.
If you navigate to the media page on VD Akker's website, a promo video I shot  with the Canon 5D can be viewed.
